Perfum Activity. IPC

As they only needed the flowers for the perfum, they had to pick them off the branches and get rid of the leaves. They have done that part of the activity in the classroom.

Then they went upstairs to the laboratory. In the laboratory, all children sat around one of the big tables and they started smashing the flowers in a mortar. Before starting this activity, they practised the movement with their hands to make sure the children were grinding the flowers and not just battering them.

Then they put the smashed flowers in a glass jar and they added alcohol to it until the flowers were covered. 

After that, they closed the jar and now it has to stay in the laboratory for three weeks till our perfume is ready.
