Community Engagement: Golf Open + Clinic at El Altillo International School
Last May, the prestigious Sherry Golf Jerez course was the setting for the V Open de Golf El Altillo School – Nunadrola, an event that brought together a large number of players both adults and juniors, bringing together families from both the school and outside with a common goal: to enjoy playing golf together.
The day took place on a beautiful day, allowing attendees to enjoy an exceptional sporting experience. Altillo International School, organiser of the event, reaffirmed its commitment to the promotion of healthy habits, respect and the practice of outdoor sports with the family.
After lunch, the prizes were awarded and a fabulous prize draw was held thanks to the collaboration of prominent companies in the province. This support, together with the sponsorship of Nunadrola, has been fundamental to the success of the event, showing a strong connection between the educational community and the local business environment.
The success of this fifth edition of the El Altillo School – Nunadrola Golf Open underlines the importance of golf in the region and the fundamental role of El Altillo International School in promoting activities that encourage a healthy lifestyle and community spirit.
Innovation in Wellness: El Altillo International School Staff Golf Clinic
As a novelty this year, days after the tournament, a golf clinic was held exclusively for the staff of El Altillo International School, offered by the Spanish Golf Federation. This activity, organised with the aim of improving the wellbeing programmes of the Centre’s employees, was very well received by colleagues. The clinic not only allowed participants to acquire and perfect golf skills, but also encouraged sporting habits, a healthy lifestyle and a strong sense of camaraderie.
The initiative reflects our commitment to the holistic wellbeing of our staff, recognising that a healthy and cohesive team is fundamental to continuing to provide a quality education to our students.
